We live and work in the middle of the best elk country in the Southwest. We regularly hunt the high deserts of Texas, plains and forests of New Mexico, and desert mountains of Old Mexico - all in search of trophy western big game.

My father, Jack Diamond, has owned and operated Beaverhead Outfitters for more than 30 years. The outfitting is headquartered at my family ranch, as a result I have been exposed to the hunting business my entire life. I currently operate the business with my father and guide during hunting season.

As most hunters would agree, the key to a good hunt begins with good equipment.  And a common concern with many of our hunters is: what particular equipment is “good equipment”? It is difficult to know which products will prove invaluable for a hunter and which will fail until your supplies are actually tested in the field.  To help solve this dilemma, my wife and I have created Beaverhead Outdoors.
